The "Focus on Health" project was implemented with the aim of raising awareness about mental health issues specific to the COVID-19 pandemic and promoting the importance of physical and stress-reducing activities for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The project was designed to use interactive non-formal education methods in a multicultural context, along with various practical activities such as hiking, outdoor team sports, yoga, meditation, and laugh therapy, to achieve its objectives. The specific objectives of the project were: The project had the following objectives: 1. increased awareness about the mental health issues associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and facilitate the generation of solutions through small yet effective behavioral changes for the 60 young people who participated during the 11 activity days. 2. engaged the 60 young people in practical learning activities, both physical (such as hiking, outdoor team sports, zip-line, and canoeing) and mental (such as yoga, meditation, and laugh therapy). The project utilized a total of eight methods during the 11 activity days. 3. informed 60 young people from each of the communities of the project partners about the importance of understanding mental health issues during the pandemic and the significance of creating good habits, such as meditation, sports, yoga, through local events organized by the young participants and supported by the partner organizations. 4. developed four social media tools (i.e. Facebook page, 1 Instagram account, and 1 WordPress blog) that aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle. The goal was to reach 5000 young people in total.
