The main idea of the project, “Diverse Communicator”, was to offer unique means by which we could explore ourselves (personal competence) and who we are in the wider world (social, citizenship and cultural awareness competences) to communicate with others (culture expression, empathy and multilingual competences). The project main aim was to address challenges that young people are facing today through the five senses (vision, touch, smell, taste and hearing) in dynamic scope (moving). The emphasis was put on movement and, in particular, dance as a form of art that (in an experiential way) helped to open a dialogue within and between individuals and communities. The main objectives of the project were to: 1. Promote discussion for inclusion through movement and all senses; 2. Understand what nonverbal communication is and how to use it for better communication; 3. Motivate closeness, interactivity and socialization through art; 4. Ignite discussion about discrimination and intercultural dialogue with the help of outdoor education methods; 5. Raise awareness about different cultures and how art is related to each culture. 6. Enhance media literacy skills through art methods.
