The management wanted to learn from Fröbel's pedagogical space concept and architecture how sustainability and ecological building can be designed in and for kindergartens and after-school care centres. The quality management of Kinder in Wien was to learn from the progressive protection concept of Froebel in order to further develop the protection guideline and the complaint and incident management for KIWI. Three regional managers of KIWI should learn from the regional managers of Froebel how to ensure quality in the work with 1-10 year old children in times of increasing diversity. The level of quality assurance, quality implementation and quality development for the pedagogical work at KIWI should be further developed through organisational development by an invited expert.
The topics of child protection, diversity and ecological sustainability are current social challenges throughout the EU. Educational institutions are also challenged to act in a future-oriented way on these topics for and with the youngest members of society and to keep the quality of pedagogy up to date according to the demands of the time in order to prepare children in the best possible way for an individualised and diversified world and at the same time to pursue and implement an ecological awareness as an educational institution. KIWI wants to learn from the kindergarten provider FRÖBEL Bildung und Erziehung gemeinnützige GmbH in Berlin and further develop its own strategies in this regard.
