Objectives

We are a multidisciplinary institution with 7 departments, offering 68 degree programs. In our internationalization strategy, we commit ourselves to integrate internationalization at all levels of the university and into the curricula. We focus on qualitative and strategic partnerships across Europe and have established a varied network of partner universities and successfully utilized it for both student and staff exchange. Erasmus+ is an integral cornerstone in achieving our goal to educate students for the twenty-first century labor market and equip them with international, cultural, and personal competences. In addition, mobilities for staff and lecturers help to improve the quality of our teaching and learning, to foster innovation, to do research together, and thus contribute to the internationalization of the university. Staff exchanges help to establish new contacts, discuss partnerships, and intensify existing ones, which is seen as an essential prerequisite for qualitative student mobilities. We also understand mobilities of our staff as an opportunity to broaden their professional and personal horizons and to learn from international partners. In this sense, staff mobility is an important tool for personnel development.
