The University of Graz (UG) has participated in the Erasmus programme since its beginning and strives to further strengthen its collaboration as a proactive partner in the Erasmus community. The internationalisation of the University is supported by the participation in the Erasmus programme, as the international mobility of students and staff is a focal element of the internationalisation strategy. Students and staff have the opportunity to have an enriching international study or work experience abroad in a well-organised and supervised setting. The reporting period was still strongly impacted by COVID-19. Nevertheless, UG carried out Erasmus activities in the best way possible. The 21 project was the first project of the new programme generation and there were challenges to overcome, such as the first payment of mobility grants or implementation of the Blended Intensive Programme as well as the use of Erasmus Without Paper (EWP). In the 21 project, the focus was also on the implementation of the new programme priorities and the corresponding top ups were disseminated university-wide. The mobilities strengthened the links with Erasmus partner universities, new collaborations were established and existing agreements were expanded.
