The fhg - health university of applied sciences tyrol - has set itself the goal, in accordance with its internationalization strategy, of supporting student and staff mobilities and maintaining existing networks as well as establishing new cooperations within the new Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027. As a university of applied sciences for health professions, our bachelor's degree programmes are designed in accordance with the (Austrian) legal basis of the specific degrees/vocational trainings and are designed as dual training programmes. Thus, our focus lies on student mobility for traineeships because we want to give our students the opportunity to receive a subsidised stay abroad during their practical training to experience health professions outside their known territory and apart from the Austrian healthcare system. In order to ensure that this endeavour is feasible, we included long internship phases in all BSc degree programmes when designing the different curricula. Furthermore, we are trying to expand our cooperations with regards to staff mobility. Our qualitative goal is clearly formulated to strengthen regional, national, and international cooperations and to foster international health care education and innovation.
