Objectives

Since 2004, Medical University of Graz has been participating in the ERASMUS+ KA131 mobility program. We have since then maintained numerous partnerships, enabling student mobility as well as staff mobility. Incoming and outgoing mobility through the Erasmus+ program are key to the internationalization strategy. By encouraging students and staff to go abroad, the university aims to establish studying abroad as the norm rather than the exception. Engaging in the Erasmus+ program allows the university to work towards increasing the number of outgoing students and staff. Med Uni Graz focuses on equal opportunities and inclusive mobility, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background or any other limitations, have access to mobility opportunities. Furthermore, teaching and training mobility facilitates the international exchange of knowledge and the sharing of best practices in the field of medicine and medicine-related administration. To enhance mobility numbers, Med Uni Graz has used KA131 funds to finance various initiatives such as its study abroad fair “International Day” and Erasmus+ Days, which aim to raise awareness about the program and convince students and staff that an Erasmus+ stay is always beneficial.
