This mobility project of Erasmus+ was a crucial element in the ongoing internationalization process at the University College for Agricultural and Environmental Education (HAUP) in Vienna. Objectives were to broaden the mindsets of our students and staff at HAUP by getting in touch with other European institutions and people working in the teacher training sector. Furthermore, we were aiming at increasing the number of outgoing students from our institution. Another focus was to motivate colleagues - staff and teachers - for doing language courses and developing their English language skills in order to motivate them using English as a working language. It was an interesting and creative challenge to organise a BIP for the first time and to engage some new colleagues to design and conceptualise innovative curricular offerings for new groups of students and lecturers from abroad and to involve our students and interest them for current societal issues such as sustainability, food production and social learning.
