Objectives

The Erasmus+ programme is a significant part of the Internationalisation Strategy of the University of Innsbruck based on the Development Plan 2022-2027. The University of Innsbruck has already reached a high level of internationalisation. About 40% of the universtity members, students and staff, come from abroad. Therefore, the university community unites people with many different backgrounds. The aim is not only to hold on to the high level of internationalisation but also to expand it and to add new dimensions to it. One quite new focus is set on "internationalisation @home" and blended formats. The goal is to offer a wide range opportunities for all individuals, working or studying at the University of Innsbruck. Thus this project aimed at making it possible for students to spend a study period or do a traineehsip abroad. In this regard, the recognition of courses and the measuring of outputs is central.
