The EU and the BMBWF prioritize internationalization in higher education. The internalization strategy of the PH OÖ ZLP 2022-2024 as well as of the BMBWF HMIS2030 for higher education mobilities mandates the promotion of mobilities for all members. Through this project, the PH OÖ promoted quality mobilities for staff to boost internationalization and help develop a deeper understanding of education on an international level. Even though COVID-19 negatively impacted outgoing mobilities goals, teachers still successfully took advantage of the mobility program. The goal of the mobility program is to enable teachers and staff to share their knowledge and experience at partner universities, and to deepen their own understanding of the educational or administrative system of the partners. After the mobility, the knowledge and experiences gained is to be shared at the PH OÖ in lectures and in discussions with colleagues. Furthermore, the PH OÖ has also put an emphasis on the development of projects and collaborations in specific areas of expertise. The PH OÖ has several existing projects with partner universities. We are working to expand that number by also using the program to support the development of new project partnerships.
