Objectives

Central European University Private University - CEU PU (CEU) is a research-intensive, undergraduate- and graduate-level university in Austria, where faculty and students from more than 110 countries come to engage in interdisciplinary education and address some of society’s most vexing problems. CEU’s new main campus opened in Vienna in 2020 gives a home to world-leading research and to US- and Austrian accredited degree teaching. With the opening of its new campus, CEU entered the field of undergraduate teaching, and the student body is envisioned to grow from a current level of 1,300 students to 2,200 by 2025. Academic cooperation at all levels with higher education institutions outside of Austria is of great value for CEU and has been an important part of the internationalization strategy of the university since its earliest years. The main aim when implementing the current project was the successful continuation of our participation in the Erasmus Program( after 15 years), in a new campus, a new country, after the revision and renewal of our cooperation activities and internal processes to best suit the Austrian legal environment as well as the needs of CEU's community and our European and international partners.
