Objectives

As already described in the study visit should raise awareness due to the pandemic the topics of mental health and digitalization because those were becoming extremely important. That’s why we wanted to implement this project. OBJECTIVES +Raise awareness on the topic of mental health and digitalization. +To get all youth workers and young people on board on this topic with a special focus on young people with fewer opportunities, migration or refugee history. +Explore possibilities and tools that are already used in youth work. +Create a pool of methods that can be used in work with young people (with pros and cons) +Present structures that already exist in individual countries: e.g. Austria: health-competent youth work (healthy box), website +Topic the safer internet +Use and try social media interaction +Blended youth work: what does it mean and how can it be used? +Which settings allow us youth workers to interact with young people: both online and offline or blended? +To enable youth workers to apply and transfer what they have learned in this study visit. After quick switch to digital youth work, making more use of social media and not only youth work has found that this has an impact on mental health. These topics is going on in all our countries and by implementing it we already knew that there will be a big impact to all of us on how we have to react on this new situation (in addition we also have the war now which affects us even more on those topics) The partners involved have these experiences, especially in the last 1.5 years, and we have set ourselves the goal of learning from each other. Several of us met already before on several E+ conferences and projects and there is experience with digitalization and all partners brought this in. Especially in Jordan, we will be able to get in touch with organizations working with refugees and minorities, who shared with us their way of working in terms of mental health and digitalization and empowering of locals to address those topics. Safer internet played a role and rules that were followed. With this in mind, we have jointly carried out this study visit.
