In the framework of the first year of Erasmus+ 2021-2027, UMONS aims to implement its European strategic policy and develop priority areas of the Charter in terms of inclusion, digitization, eco-responsibility, and citizenship education in the operationalization of mobility activities. Despite a difficult context (gradual exit from the health crisis and war in Ukraine), we had an increased participation in the mobility activities (we realized all the planned flows) and registered a good motivation in trying the new mobility formats proposed by the new programme (15% of hybrid short mobility). The realization of this project clearly demonstrated the resilience of UMONS in a context of various systemic crises, and its strategic commitment to stimulate its academic community in order to face the cross-cutting issues of ecological, energy, digital and social transition. This project has also contributed to our goal of training students as global citizens and enriching their curriculum through the consolidation of European and international collaborations in education, research and innovation.
