The 2021/23 edition of the Erasmus+ project is a continuation of former Erasmus projects, in which the University of Namur (UNamur) has participated for more than three decades. We continue to participate in this project, because we believe that an international experience is an important part of students' and researcher’s academic careers, and a great professional development opportunity for administrative staff. The Erasmus+ mobility offers the participants the possibility to benefit from an exposure to different languages, cultures, teaching and working environments. Students become more independent, more aware of European values and more inclined to respond to the major challenges our societies are confronted to. Their academic curricula become more international, through the access to courses, academic specializations, or research facilities not available at UNamur. The participation in an Erasmus exchange fosters career prospects for the students and trainees involved. Staff members can share and learn from best practices, share and develop their expertise and enlarge their research and professional networks.
