Objectives

By implementing the ABCD4ME project we wanted to: - ensure that beneficiaries/migrants acquire the knowledge, skills, tools and network necessary to start a business through implementing a lean entrepreneurial capacity-building programme in a digital format, -address digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity, -contribute to innovation in vocational education and training, -make available free qualitative useful and transferable tools to VET partners and stakeholders across the European Union, - strengthen strategic partnership and collaboration among the partners, - increase the economic integration and effective inclusion of migrants by supporting the development of skilled and qualified digital entrepreneurs.

Background

The ABCD4ME project was designed to alleviate the problem of migrant exclusion and low employment rate exacerbated by the Covid, and that is why we applied. To achieve this objective, ABCD4ME acted on 3 levels: -TARGET GROUP: The project supports VET organisations and their trainers by facilitating the development of competences to meet emerging needs and anticipate future skills' gaps. Indeed, ABCD4ME project has supported them by making innovative tools and methods available free of charge, namely an online digital database, a training programme based on the EQF and ECVET, a digital learning platform using Apps, and a methodological guide. -BENEFICIARIES: the project contributed to strengthening the integration of migrants by supporting the development of skilled and qualified entrepreneurs through a professional training course in entrepreneurship and project management. ABCD4ME has also responded to the need for fostering migrant entrepreneurship by setting up a post-training follow-up system, including networking with incubation and microfinancing services. -PARTNERS: the project offered opportunity for cross-learning, collective competence transfer, mutual professional development and exchange of good practices.
