Objectives

Based on a given task, a model plant was to be developed by each partner according to the topic mentioned. The preparation was carried out in co-operation with the training company Krones AG in Neutraubling near Regensburg. The model plant to be developed by all partners had the same modular structure. Each partner had to produce a functional system corresponding to the task and present it to the other partners on site. The partners taught each other the basic knowledge of programming, electrics, electronics and mechanical production through peer learning in the transnational teaching, learning and training activities (LLTA) as well as through the use of conference calls. In addition, the project is multilingual, as a compendium of technical terms has been created in all of the partners' languages using English as a bridge language. The specialist vocabulary compendium can be viewed in the cloud at https://c.gmx.net/@334290584590090795/5uAtXjG0Qrq1T1SW1ZsyBQ The design, implementation and course of the project were mutually agreed on an equal footing, coupled with a fair division of tasks. Background

The planned project resulted from the increasing need for digitalisation in the design of driverless mobility in the transport sector and in industrial production. Europe must face up to this paradigm shift in order to survive in the globalised economy. The content of vocational education and training in the European Union must adapt to this development. The countries of the European Union are developing joint programmes to this end in order to remain globally competitive. A total of five partners from the EU and one partner from outside the EU were to be involved in school-based vocational education and training programmes. They formed a strategic school partnership and transnational training network from the digitalisation sector in the EU economy. In addition to skills in mechanical manufacturing, skills, knowledge and competences in electronics and programming of digital modules were increasingly required. The aim of the project was to motivate participants to tackle these issues and challenges. The knowledge, skills and competences imparted were recognised as part of practical training and evaluated in this respect. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
