Objectives

The theme of this project is discrimination: racial, gender, religious and social. Since the start of our work with this group of young people, we have observed problems : - either among themselves or within their family or school environment. - problems of trivialized violence, often moral (insults, mockery, etc.) or sexual, such as gendered comments about women or people with different sexual orientations. As far as the tool is concerned, theater is a highly effective medium. As far as the tool is concerned, it's important to point out that our audience also has difficulty expressing themselves, whether in form or content. During the last exchange, the core of the target group (10 young people) took part in theater workshops with the partner. These workshops aroused the interest of a large part of the group, and most of them decided to take up this discipline in order to deliver the messages that interest us. As part of this process, we thought it would be a good idea to mobilize this group of young people around the same theme, as part of a European project that would enable them to play an active part in building a long-term project, but also, by hosting our partner in Martinique, to become ambassadors and models of benevolence in their respective spheres, and to act as resources for the partner structures representing them. The objectives of this global project linked to the DISCRIMINATION theme are to : - Raise young people's awareness of discrimination and the issues involved; - Provide young people with a legal approach to discrimination, and make it easier to identify (legal definition, examples of existing discrimination, etc.). - Apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired, - Make the approach to discrimination less sensitive and more playful, - Position young people as a force for proposal and participation. - Promote the acquisition of basic skills
