Objectives

The pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the expectations of the new generations of trainees required a rethinking of the previous model of organizing and conducting our training programs and communication with alumni and target groups. The goals we set for with this project were: 1. Increasing the capacity of the BSoP team, trainers and experts to organize and conduct effective online and hybrid trainings, in addition to those face-to-face. 2. Increasing the capacity of the BUSoP team for effective communication with alumni and for expanding activities to new target groups.

Background

BSoP is a non-governmental organization founded in 2002. Since then, it regularly organizes various training and discussion formats on different topics and with different target groups. One of the main activities is the National Program "Governing Skills", which has been running since 2002 and is dedicated to the various aspects of the public policy-making process at the local, national and European level with the involvement of all stakeholders. Our long-term experience has proven the effectiveness of the present formats for the active involvement of the participants. However, modern trends in the development of educational technologies pose new challenges to lecturers and trainers on how to organize the learning process in a hybrid environment and ensure the same level of interactivity and group dynamics in an online environment as in face-to-face sessions. This requires increasing their knowledge and skills in this area.
