From the implementation of the project, we wanted to acquire new and update already acquired competences from the teachers to increase the quality of education, including new technologies and corresponding to European standards. Another thing we wanted to achieve was to motivate teachers to increase the quality of the education provided. Last but not least, the experience gained by the teachers to provoke and motivate students to expand their knowledge of digital technologies, distance education, electronic media and environmental education.
"Hristo Botev" Secondary School is an institution with extensive experience and multifaceted activities in the development and implementation of national and international projects. It was an honor and a pleasure for us to work on the "Better Education, Happier Children" project, through which we realized 24 mobilities in Ireland, Spain, Italy and Germany. The implementation of this project brought many assets to the school, because in the dynamics of the new times and in the conditions of a pandemic, the challenges facing an educational institution are many. Through the realized mobilities, we got acquainted with ideas and good practices for better education, sports and relaxing practices for liberation from a sedentary lifestyle, inclusion and equality of disadvantaged students, techniques for dealing with aggression and discrimination, good environmental practices, the use of media in the educational process, integration of STEAM education, increasing language competence in English and German. The acquired knowledge from the educational mobilities gives the opportunity to implement activities in three age groups - elementary, middle and upper stages of education.
