The goal of the project is: improvement and modernization of teaching methodologies to prepare fulfilling individuals capable of realizing themselves in the dynamic conditions of the modern world. By finding new approaches to create effective and attractive learning environment we strive to: - reduce cases of students dropping out of school; - developing lessons and programs that meet the needs of students and teachers for integrated dual education; - use of ICT to increase students' motivation for learning and work; - establishing contacts between the school and international educational institutions; -sharing experiences and methods for managing with the challenges arising from the ethnic characteristics of high school graduates; - teacher training in areas such as dual training, inclusive education and work with vulnerable groups; - increasing the digital and entrepreneurial competences of the administrative leadership to accelerate the process of changes related to the modernization of the school and the introduction of innovations.
"Dobri Zhelyazkov" Vocational High School of Textiles and Apparel "Dobri Zhelyazkov" is a vocational school, in which students of Roma origin are taught. Not a small part of them drop out of the education system, due to early marriages, seasonal work, low incomes and the departure of the whole family to another city or country, and lack of parental interest. This gives rise need to get acquainted with foreign experience and good pedagogical practices in the field of inclusive education, with the aim of keeping students in school. To gain practical skills in the high school the dual education system was introduced six years ago. Due to the lack of other schools with similar professions and specialties to teach through work, the school team needs to share experience and good practices with organizations and schools with established and long experience.
