Our main goals are two: 1. Through a course to give maximum knowledge, skills and ideas for work online and in a remote environment to ensure the quality of training in a pandemic and post-pandemic environment. This will reduce the risk of dropping out. 2. Acquiring new and improving existing knowledge and skills for outdoor teaching in the context of environmental education and the importance of green policies through an appropriate training course. After the training, we expect the participants in both streams to: Have improved experience in working in a multicultural environment and working with a foreign language, to work better in a team, to have improved skills for teaching the learning content, increased self-confidence and a richer set of teaching strategies. For the young pedagogues we will include - valuable experience in working on projects. For all participants - new contacts and opportunities for subsequent projects.
The global pandemic also put teachers to the test, who had to look for distance learning solutions. Thus, digital technologies for teaching and learning and the development of digital skills for all have become even more important. We have a long-term strategy for building outdoor learning centers, based on more in-depth environmental training and education. At the same time, current policies for a green Europe are being transferred to education, and there is not enough qualifications on this topic. A rich resource of job ideas is needed. We believe that if our teachers receive a valuable qualification for working in an online environment in certain situations, digital skills and more knowledge and strategies for outdoor learning, we will significantly reduce the risks of reducing the quality of education and give teachers confidence that they can cope. Attending courses and sharing ideas will lead to emotional and professional recharging.
