Background

The team of 35 SEU applied, because the project provided an opportunity to meet an important part of the needs of our institution. 19 pedagogical specialists from all educational stages got acquainted with possible solutions to the challenges in the school. The structured courses helped to improve the institution's educational environment by providing techniques and approaches for the development of social, civic, and emotional skills of teachers and students. The social inclusion of students and their education in tolerance and cooperation were supported. The needs of qualified teachers with competencies for integrating ICT in the classroom were addressed to teach interactively and overcome the disinterest and passivity of some students. The digital skills for creating electronic resources and exchanging experiences with colleagues from European countries were significantly improved, which contributed to their confidence in their work.
