With the realization of the project, the main goal of PGSUAU "Atanas Burov" was to give the opportunity to 8 teachers from PGSUAU from different subject areas to participate in a training course at Braga Mob Open, Braga, Portugal, where they would get to know the modern trends in the application of ICT in education so that they can make progress in their professional and personal development and increase their future professional suitability as pedagogical specialists. The project aimed to promote the interaction of modern ICT tools with the educational process, which would increase the quality of education and effectively use the existing and future technical resources available to the high school, increase the work motivation of teachers. Identified areas for improvement: - development of teachers' skills and competencies - acquisition of practical skills for working with ICT tools in the subject area; - information selection skills, decision-making skills, ways of communication, problem solving, - personal development and flexibility; - increasing foreign language skills through training in a real environment. The project enabled the participants to improve their teaching practices with ICT.
"Atanas Burov" Vocational School is the largest vocational training high school in Silistra region. A school with a 59-year history, which prepares specialists with a secondary economic education. The high school educates 350 students, between 14 and 19 years old, in various specialties, with intensive study of foreign languages - English, German, French. Every year the school admits students with chronic diseases, physical disabilities, for which we want to create a comfortable, accessible environment and the European experience contributes to the realization of new ideas in this area. The main goal of the high school is the formation of individuals with high intellectual training and culture, with clearly expressed civic awareness and behavior, capable of effective realization. The team employs 38 highly qualified teachers with specializations in the country and abroad. Traditions have been established in increasing their professional qualification, intellectual training and culture, with a clear civic awareness and behavior capable of effective implementation. The school develops a policy of openness and cooperation withinternational organizations. Our main goal is to provide quality education at the European level.
