We wanted to achieve: 1. modernization of the methodology of teaching foreign languages using digital technologies. 2. using new digital methods and tools to assess the progress of our students 3. in humanities - history, which is taught bilingually in Bulgarian and English, modernization of the English language and also of their teaching methodology. 4. achieving a European dimension and internationalization of our institution 5. updating the language competences of foreign language teachers, 6. optimization of the curriculum and the learning process with the implementation of intercultural interaction by getting to know and studying the curricula of other European countries, in order to implement good practices in the current academic year 2022/2023. 7. acquisition of innovative skills in order to apply to the Ministry of Education and Culture to turn our school into an innovative one
After analyzing the needs of "Yordan Radichkov" Foreign Language High School, we found that our foreign language teachers need training to learn new modern methods, how to use digital technologies in foreign language теацхинг, and also in teaching of history bilingually in English and Bulgarian These skills they could acquire by participating in structured qualification courses in the countries where the language is spoken. We wanted to apply to make our school innovative. Therefore, we have chosen courses for technology-assisted learning in the teaching of English, French and German. We selected one teacher to be trained to use technology in the teaching of a bilingual subject - history. After the mobilities, the participants in the qualification courses were trained in the possibilities, challenges and potential of digital technologies and their application in language teaching We wanted to be able to confidently create a concept for successfully turning our school into an innovative one and applying to the Ministry of Education and Science, which was fulfilled. After in-school training, all teachers from our school now use digital applications and platforms in their lessons
