To achieve the main objective of the project–providing quality and adequate to the needs of business education, we need motivated students and creative, ambitious teachers that apply contemporary learning methods and techniques. With this project, we set the following objectives: To support students in acquiring new professional and social skills in order to improve their personal development and their employability in the labor market; To improve the language competencies through communication in multicultural environment; To increase their motivation for complete involvement in the learning process through using interactive teaching methods; To enhance the cooperation with our European partners and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity. With the realization of the project’s objectives we achieve better quality of the professional education and training in the school and increase the chances for a professional realization and the employability of our students.
Secondary Vocational school of tourism “Aleksandar Paskalev”, Haskovo, is an innovative school capable of forming students’ skills and competences for an efficient social realization. Our mission is to provide quality and adequate education to the needs of business, by combining national traditions alongside the European levels of competency. Project “Key skills in a new environment” follows school’s strategic directions for development. The realization of the project satisfies the participants’ needs for acquiring and improving key, specific to the profession knowledge, personal and language skills, necessary for a dynamic environment. It increases their employability, motivation for learning and professional realization. The project meets the pedagogical ambition to improve the quality of professional education and training in the school. To expand the international contacts and bring our European partnership to a higher level.
