With this project we wanted to build on and enrich the students' professional knowledge and skills through the opportunity for transnational practice in a real working environment. The opportunity to practice in another country allows students to improve both their practical knowledge and skills and to acquire teamwork skills. Through daily communications, students also acquire basic skills for communicating in a foreign language environment, an understanding of social, European and cultural diversity, respect for intercultural differences, and professional etiquette towards colleagues and clients. Improving the qualification of teachers at the Vocational School of Telecommunications is also an important factor for the quality of training and education of the young generation of IT specialists. Training aimed at improving teachers' communication skills, dealing with conflict situations and introducing interactive methodologies for detecting talent in the student helps to develop so-called "soft skills" in teachers. In addition, the participants of the trainings further develop their language skills.
The new vision for the European Education Area focuses on high quality, inclusive and accessible digital education in Europe. Digitalisation has already changed the labour market . Digital skills are becoming part of almost every business. They will be an essential skill alongside literacy and will be needed in all walks of life. The main focus of the school is to train professionals for the IT and telecommunications sector. The careers that students are trained in are suitable for the application of STEM learning focused on science, technology, engineering and maths. Therefore, it is also necessary to seek adequate application of what is learned in practice, to draw on the experience of the best. At the same time, VET teachers face new challenges as they are not only educators but also advisors and mentors. Students need to receive appropriate career guidance and motivation from their teachers. The need for effective action to support students in their educational and career choices is paramount and teachers need to be equipped with the appropriate knowledge, skills and methods to do this.
