Background

Sofia Vocational High School "Kniaginia Evdokia" - Sofia, (Bulgaria) educates students in 7 professional fields included in the List of Professions for Vocational Education and Training, incl. and in the List of professions protected by the state, as well as in the List of innovative schools for the academic year 2022/2023. The main problems encountered by the school are: the insufficient motivation of students for realization in the studied professions, including from vulnerable groups; limited access to current trends in beauty and personal care services; insufficient oral and written communication in a foreign language environment; need to strengthen cooperation with European partners/companies in the field of VET. With the project 2021-1-BG01-KA122-VET-000030894 "Beauty Pro-Care", the school aimed to: 1) meeting the needs of students majoring in Hairdressing; Cosmetics; Manicure, Pedicure and Nail Art related to upgrading their key competences (professional, foreign language, social and cultural) through short mobility in studios and salons in an EU country. 2) implementing measures to improve the learning process in the school and strengthening the process of internationalization of school activities.
