By participating in the project, we wanted to achieve the following goals: • to improve the language competences of the participants; • to increase teachers' knowledge of other cultures and countries; • to improve the quality of teaching through various innovative methods; • to increase the qualifications of teachers through participation in various forms of training; • to improve the quality and attractiveness of professional education and training; • to create a more attractive image of professional education and training; • to raise the image of the high school; • to acquire new professional skills and competencies; • to increase the quality of teaching and to obtain as a result a better motivation for learning, realized through the application of various innovative methods; • to expand institutional collaborations in areas of practice; • to achieve successful professional and career development of project participants; • to cooperate with institutions and specialists in the EU, through participation in various forms of mobility; Participating in the project helped us overcome language barriers, gain confidence in our own abilities, improved qualities such as adaptability, sense of responsibility, motivation and innovation.
"Petko R. Slaveykov" Vocational High School is the only vocational school in Yakoruda Municipality. It opened its doors in 1966 and successfully wrote its 54 -year history. In keeping with the economic development of the region and the dynamically developing labor market, our high school modernizes the professions offered. Since 2006, the admission of students by professions in the field of "Applied Informatics", and since 2010 also in the field of "Travel, Tourism and Leisure". Our team takes responsibility for implementing a school policy in which the education, upbringing and personal development of young people in Professional school play a leading role. Our main goal was to take our work to a higher level and for our students to truly receive a European education and qualification. Our key aim was to make the school an attractive and desirable place for young people to learn. Through teacher mobility, we wanted to raise the image of the high school; to increase students' motivation for learning and mastering the chosen profession. Teachers of general education and vocational training were involved in the project. A team of qualified high school teachers was formed for the quality implementation of the project activities.
