Through the implementation of the Erasmus+ project, the University of Ruse had as an aim to fulfil its strategy for internationalisation and modernisation, including: - to widen and intensify its international cooperation through participation of staff and students in mobility, - to increase the reciprocal mobility, - to increase the number of its partners, also geographically, - to develop spin-off project activities, - to improve the curricula and its international dimension, - to develop research-business cooperation, - to influence positively the participants in their aspiration to be successful on the European labour market (students), through increasing knowledge, including language and intercultural skills, - to increase the qualification of staff through exchange of experience, best practices and know-how, - to improve the visibility of the university and its competitiveness on regional, national and international level, respecting the principles of the Erasmus charter in the relation with its partners and respecting the basic documents of the Erasmus programme, as well as the instructions of the national Erasmus agency. This project has contributed significantly for further development of the cooperation with partners.
