The five-year development plan is the map that determines the direction of the A Technical School of Nicosia. Based on the strategic plan the school seeks long-term stability and development. It is based on six strategic factors: 1. Improve the image of our school 2. Improve communication between staff and between students and staff 3. Promote staff competence in teaching and training and developing a better understanding of different systems and policies in education by adding their experience that will be transferred to our school reality 4. Improve students learning by increasing their learning skills 5. It will help students to understand and get closer to a European multicultural and internationalized environment 6. Improve students' employment capacity through practical training. Participating in the Erasmus + program will help students successfully enter the job market
The A Technical School of Nicosia is a public school that operates under the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. The School was founded in 1956 and employs 130 teachers, teaching in both theoretical and practical directions. The theoretical curriculum emphasizes the preparation of students for academic studies, while the practical curriculum is oriented towards professional practical work. This year 620 students attend our school in the following specialities: Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Computer and Civil Engineering), Applied Arts (Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion and Gold & Silversmithing Design), Design and Production of carpentry for furniture and Hotels. The practical experience that the candidates will gain through the Erasmus program will be added to their overall practical experience which is a necessary legal basis for dismissal purposes.
