The Cyprus Institute (CyI) through its participation in the Erasmus+ programme aimed primarily at providing its students and staff with opportunities for learning and training at distinguished Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and other organizations across Europe, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and sharing of expertise while respecting the requirements set out in the ECHE. For student mobilities, the main objective was to enable them to gain knowledge and skills through training and collaboration with renowned faculty and researchers and to enhance their overall learning performance as well as boost their employability. In the case of the staff mobilities, the focus was on improving competences and professional skills through training and teaching, thus enhancing the quality of their work and acquiring a broader understanding of practices, policies, and systems in education and research across different countries. Overall, the project had an essential role in the internalization strategy of CyI, contributing to the strengthening of existing partnerships as well as the establishment of new ones, resulting in the expansion of its network.
