Objectives

OBJECTIVES The main aim of the project CREATIVE AGENTS was to provide the professionals or future professionals in the Creative and Cultural Sectors with the necessary creative, green and digital skills to develop alternative sustainable practices that adapt to the needs of the CCI sector and promote the cross-fertilization of arts, culture and sustainability. It has done so by creating a CREATIVE AGENT training Course that creates a new job profile, the Creative Agent, who encompasses entrepreneurial spirit, digital knowhow and a green approach to the practice. Creative Agents are capable of creating synergies among different economic sectors and able to strongly communicate and cooperative with local communities, actors and stakeholders. The project aimed to put in practice new innovative solutions and sustainable alternatives; Work with new partners at community level to increase the participation of local stakeholders; Adopt smart digital distribution formats; Collaborate with the CCS practitioners to create joint actions and movements at local level; Contribute to the well-being of citizens, social innovation and cohesion.

Background

The main aim of the Project CREATIVE AGENTS was to support VET providers in adapting their training offers to meet the changing skills needs in the CCI sector, thereby expanding the training to include more sustainable, green, and digital skills. This was achieved by creating a new job profile, the Creative Agent, who encompassed entrepreneurial spirit, digital know-how, and a green approach to their practice. Creative Agents successfully created synergies among different economic sectors and effectively communicated and cooperated with local communities and actors. CCIs across Europe needed to: Develop new competencies to adapt to the post-pandemic scenario. Recognize their role in local communities, ensuring recovery and new development not only for the sectors but also for the entire local dimension they operated in. Activate innovative processes in other sectors through the power of creativity and its application, generating social impact and cross-fertilization for innovation and well-being in local communities. Other community stakeholders affected by this project saw responses to their needs for: Designing future creative-driven development. Becoming aware of the potential of culture & creativity to heal society.
