In order to meet these needs, we had designed the following project objectives: 1. Acquire innovative transformative learning methodologies and upskill our trainers. 2. Increase the knowledge and skills of our staff to design and deliver more inclusive educational interventions. 3. Increase the experience and knowledge of our staff in innovative curriculum resources that support empowerment and increased community engagement in active citizenship. 4. Establish long-term and close working relationships with educators and organisations across Europe to share best practice and generate international cooperation opportunities. By implementing the project and achieving these objectives we increased the quality, reach and accessibility of our learning programmes. We are now closer to becoming an organisation leading in educational innovation for active citizenship in the Czech Republic.
RESET was established to support organisations with an interdisciplinary approach to research and education, with expertise in the fields of circular economy, environmental sustainability, housing issues and urbanisation. We needed to improve our educational activities in order to increase our impact in these areas, and we had identified four key challenges that this project would help us address: 1) Overcoming the superficiality of the educational experience to ensure truly transformative learning. 2) Disadvantage and marginalisation excluding those most affected. 3) Lack of pedagogical content to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills among adult learners. 4) Few opportunities to build supportive relationships with adult educators from across Europe.
