We implemented foreign internships with the intention to develop the competences of participants in the social field. We have set 4 goals focused on the development of professional skills and key competences needed for the performance of social care and education, gaining practical work experience in this field and developing the language competences needed for communication in English.
In the long term, we strive to ensure that all high school students, including disadvantaged students, have the opportunity to gain professional experience abroad as part of a social practice focused on the field of pedagogy, education and care of children in pre-school and school facilities. This project helped to realize our plan and brought our students the opportunity to travel to Ireland and complete a social practicum here.
