During the preparation of the project, we identified the 2 most pressing shortcomings and chose the challenges, the fulfillment of which could be achieved thanks to the implementation of the project. The first challenge for us was to strengthen the further education (mainly language) of our teachers. For a language-equipped teacher, we can assume the strengthening and use of the CLIL method in teaching, the use of professional English in hobby groups, involvement in international projects. The second challenges aimed at increasing the applicability of students on the labor market. School graduates need to be equipped with new competencies. They should primarily have information-technical expertise, experience in the field, language skills, master project-oriented activities. But skills such as the ability to cooperate, communicate, work in a team and more are also necessary. Properly set priorities and the successful implementation of the project helped us to solve our specific needs. We increased the applicability of the school's students on the labor market and supported the strengthening of the language competences of both students and teaching staff and, in connection with this, increased the quality of education.
Střední průmyslová škola a Obchodní akademie is a modern and dynamic educational institution that has educated thousands of graduates who continue their studies at universities or find employment directly in their own or a related field. Our mission is to make teaching fun and engaging, so that it arouses students' interest in the given field and moves them further. Thanks to the Erasmus+ project, we were able to support the acquisition of learning outcomes and the improvement of language skills of 12 pupils and 5 teaching staff, thanks to the realization of mobilities. We firmly believe that the strengthening of further education of our employees brought added value not only to the participants themselves, but also to the entire sending organization, when the workers involved in professional education contributed to increasing the quality of education for the benefit of our pupils. Thanks to completing a foreign internship, our students became more attractive and competitive for the current and future labor market.
