By implementing this project, we wanted our students to achieve the ability to practice and enhance their professional and language competencies in the foreign context. We wanted them to be able to use professional terminology while preparing the work or teaching activities for seniors or kindergarten children, so that they can work and communicate with them, together with their colleagues and clients in the workplaces. We wanted our students to be enthusiastic to get a job position on the labour market abroad, because during their mobilities they could test if they were able to stand, both in their professional and language competencies. They enriched their pedagogical and social experience for the foreign inspiration and they got an insight into social care for seniors and education systems for young children across Europe, in Portugal, Poland and Ireland.
Our school The Pedagogical and Social College and the Upper Secondary Pedagogical School Kroměříž has been constantly trying to take part in the international programme Erasmus+ vocational educational training (VET). We have set the current needs and goals, which should be helped by the participation in the foreign vocational educational training. We have planned and implemented this project to be able to face the up-to-date challenges of the European Union life and context. We especially seek the practice and consolidating of our students' professional competencies in other EU countries. We also seek the international recognition of qualifications, practice and enhancing of language and professional competencies and career opportunities in the whole European Union. We also want to follow the current situation in pre-school education and social care for seniors in other countries of the European Union. Thanks to our mobilities, we want to apply the examples of good practice from abroad in the context of our school teaching practice.
