By participating students in international professional internships, we decided to develop not only their language and work competences, but also deepen their cultural outlook and strengthen their self-confidence. In addition to work skills, we also intended to develop their personal competencies, increase their independence and show them ways to integrate into ordinary society. We also hoped that a project of this type would increase the motivation of future students to study at our school and contribute to making the school more attractive in the eyes of the public. By the participation of pedagogues in methodological courses, we intended to achieve the strengthening of their language and professional competences, increase their motivation and their commitment to teaching.
We are secondary business school which educates pupils with different kinds of handicap mainly physical. Recently the number of students suffering from disorders of autistic spectrum has been increasing. We also take care of students wwith visual and hearing impairment and students suffering from combined disability. We are the dormitory school attended by students from the whole republic. there is also special pedagogical centre as a part of our school. We offer the study in 4 different fields of study: Business Academy with the final maturita exam, Social Activities with the final exam, Business School with the final exam and Operational Services with final exam and the certificate. In this project we involved mainly the students of Business Academy.
