Our objectives concern both activities for pupils and students and activities for professional teachers. The short-term professional activity for pupils and students was focused on comparing standards of nursing care in homes for the elderly, namely in the provision of basic nursing care, cooperation with foreign staff, personal development in the field of professional competences, social development, adaptation to a different cultural environment. The professional internship for professional teachers (job shadowing) was focused on comparing the standards of nursing care in the conditions of a health care facility, preparing teaching materials for theoretical and practical teaching and comparing the training of middle nursing staff and their competences in health care facilities - specifically at the University Clinic in Jena (Germany) in different departments.
Our organization is focused on the education of middle nursing staff in non-medical fields, namely Practical Nurse, Hospital Attendant, Diploma General Nurse, Diploma Pediatric Nurse. The Erasmus+ project focuses on professional activities for pupils, students and teachers as well. Within the framework of activities for pupils and students we carry out professional internships in homes for the elderly, for teachers shadowing in hospitals abroad. These activities serve to link theory and practice in professional subjects, comparison of care in the Czech Republic, specifically in health care facilities in the Zlín Region, and abroad.
