By implementing the project plan, we contributed to the fulfilment of the set goals, which were defined by the school management in cooperation with the project team and the teaching staff of the school. The first of the goals was to increase the expertise of our students, which in the future will means better employability of our graduates on the labor market. Another point was the overall building of the school's prestige, the continuous increase in attractiveness in the eyes of applicants for study and employment, and the accentuation of apprenticeship fields. The long-term goal is also the gradual expansion of the network of partners to other European countries, establishing high-quality cooperation and strengthening relations with previously approached partners. The project also contributed to improving language skills.
In the project, we wanted to build on the successful internships to Portugal and Slovenia in the year 2019 and 2020, and continue to provide our students with the opportunity to go abroad without the need for financial participation. It is the financial burden generally for low income students and high living costs in abroad that is the biggest obstacle for the vast majority of our students. Within the project, we also wanted to support pupils with limited opportunities and representatives from apprenticeship fields. We already have experience with grant applications from previous years, we know the time-consuming preparation and implementation phase, we have a functioning project team, and above all, we have noticed an above-standard interest in participating in foreign internships on the part of pupils.
