Objectives

In international cooperation, the Erasmus+ program at the University of Hradec Králové ("UHK") has a longstanding tradition and support, with the ambition to develop foreign relations - the principles embedded in the program are subsequently applied in other areas of the university life and reflected in its documents. The number of Erasmus agreements grows slowly and the new program period 2021-2027 was used to revise existing contracts. EWP has advanced digitalization. To ensure smooth implementation of EWP, UHK participated in centralized development programs for Czech public universities on EWP in 2021 and 2022. Collaboration on key digitalization issues has not only been a valuable experience but has also paved the way for informal cooperation in 2023. The Erasmus+ program contributes to the fulfillment of the university's strategic plan, i.e. it strengthens the internationalization of the environment, attractiveness of the UHK, develops global competence of students, international cooperation and promotion of the university abroad. Compared to the past, more emphasis is placed on developing strategic partnerships, including the "European University" initiative. The program thus moves UHK towards a modern university.
