Because not only we in our organization realize how important the topic of environmental protection is in society as a whole, it is equally important for the youth. We wanted them, as the generation that will soon be at the top, to have means and tools that contribute to environmental protection. We thought that every individual from the younger generation has heard about environmental protection, but most of the time they only understood the topic superficially and, unfortunately, they had little verified information to be able to take an in-depth interest in the topic. Therefore, we primarily prepared activities specifically for them. Young people felt frustrated that the older generation lacks sustainability and environmental protection as a primary topic and that they did not understand the youth's approach to it. And for that reason we decided to do this project - because we wanted to educate youth workers to understand the need to protect youth environment and also to be able to carry out activities with an emphasis on this topic. Therefore, we set the following project goals: 1. To educate youth workers in the field of sustainability 2. To implement sustainability into the daily life of the organization and into the daily life of youth workers 3. To give space to youth to consolidate knowledge in the field of sustainability and educate the older generation on the topic 4. To offer youth activities with regard to sustainability.
