By implementing this project we wanted to strengthen the capacities of all involved partners, increase the individual knowledge of representatives of NGOs, and ensure high-level team building which will lead to a smooth implementation of this project and will give us a great base for future cooperation in the frame of Erasmus+, change best practices in youth work in general and in youth work connected to the topic of Antisemitism, to improve our skills regarding leading long term project and for the new coming organization from the North Macedonia to support them in their first international meeting led by them and to involve them to the program and share our knowledge in order to ease their beginning in international youth work as a freshman organization. All the above-mentioned points were successfully achieved and already by the time of writing the final report we are using the newly improved skills in our youth work.
We have applied for the project after a discussion with our project partners. During this preparational part of the project, we understood that antisemitism is a huge and raising problem in all four countries. We felt that there is a need for action. Therefore we wanted to apply for a project which will firstly increase our knowledge but will as well lead to fruitful team building and will strengthen the capacities of each partner NGO. Already while writing this project we knew that after its implementation we will continue working on this topic in the frame of the Erasmus+ program. We knew that working on small-scale projects will help us to better understand long-term projects and will give us the capacity for our future work. During the project, we have as well exchanged knowledge and best practices not only regarding antisemitism but we have discussed project writing, proper budget and time management, and youth work in general. In total, we have managed to reach all our goals and our capacities were strengthened out of which we already benefit in our following youth work.
