The main reason why our partnership apply for this project, was, that the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the numerous challenges faced by teachers and students in online education. The identification of best practices and recommendations in education based on the lessons learned from the distance education experience triggered by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic became the basis for the design and implementation of our project. We had defined the areas of digital competencies, that we focused in our project. Based on the results of analysis, we focused in particular on the areas of control and use of new digital technologies and platforms or digital skills. We wanted to verify the advantages and disadvantages of the distance learning experience acquired in our school system during the pandemic and identify the areas and ways of improving distance learning with a view to its adequate and effective use in the near future. The main aim of our project was to develop and strenghthen the digital competencies of high school students and teachers, which were involved to our project and other students and teachers of vocational schools who received our project outputs for self-study.
