Internationalisation in teaching and research is a profile-forming element of the Jade University and therefore an important area for its development. The Jade University of Applied Sciences is a public educational institution that makes its social contribution to the professional qualification of students within the framework of the international division of labour. It prepares German students for a globalised labour market. Along with the international qualification, the attractiveness and value of the degree programme is visibly increased. The university secures and expands the acquired international expertise and networking through international cooperation with over 90 partner universities with a clear focus on the EU. As a strongly practice-orientated educational institution, the Jade University maintains and strengthens its numerous contacts with companies, primarily in Europe, and uses these for joint research work and teaching purposes, such as practical semesters, Bachelor's and Master's theses and guest lectureships, to promote the knowledge triangle of "education-research-business". The highest priority is to institutionalise internationalisation by integrating it into the curricula.
