Erasmus+ is and remains the most important mobility programme at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences and is therefore hugely important for internationalisation here. The project started as the first project of the new programme generation in September 2021. Due to the pandemic-related extension of the 2019 and 2020 projects, in which numerous grants could only be realised late, funding from the 2021 project also began very late, namely in the summer semester of 2023. In addition, the university had the ambition to spend the funds from the previous and (partly) parallel projects correctly and as completely as possible. At the same time, the 2021 project marked a turning point, as new formats and funding from the new programme generation were possible. In addition, this project was no longer entirely under the massive influence of the pandemic. This explains the significantly lower mobility figures compared to the 2019 and 2020 projects. However, the university's aim in carrying out the 2021 project was, on the one hand, to return mobility to normality and, on the other, to promote the opportunities offered by the new programme generation to the target group and partners.
