The internationalisation process of our university is part of our overall strategy to offer university students, lectures and staff opportunities to expand on an international level. The goal of our international strategy is to send 50 % of our students for studies or internships abroad for at least one term of studies. The Erasmus programme with its wide opportunities in funding is therefore a major key stone to fund underprivileged students also. Funding is often the obstacle for going abroad. For our university itself - through participation in the INGENIUM european university alliance – processes and mobilities can be organised easier and innovative teaching concepts can be experienced. The alliance will promote the internationalization of teaching and learning at HKA at a European level through its support for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiatives with their intercultural, application-oriented and trans-disciplinary approachAlso research concepts can be adapted in an easier way.
