By implementing the Erasmus+ program, the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) is pursuing several goals. On the one hand, participants are given the opportunity to gain new experiences, strengthen their intercultural skills and develop further. By offering a wide range of exchange opportunities, we improve the quality of education and the exchange of knowledge. By actively supporting transnational student and staff mobilities, participants can improve their foreign language skills and develop intercultural sensitivity and open-minded thinking. Hosting visiting students and teachers promotes internationalization @Home and offers local students and staff new approaches and perspectives on supposedly familiar topics. Staff Weeks offer university staff exciting opportunities for further training and networking, which in turn strengthens professionalism and the exchange of knowledge at an international level. Overall, through the Erasmus+ program, WHZ strives to create a vibrant and open-minded as well as an equitable and social learning environment that promotes individual and professional development for all participants.
