The Erasmus+ programme project 2021, as was the case with the precursor project in 2020, plays a vital role and constitutes a main factor for the implementation of the internationalisation of the German Sport University Cologne. Within the strategy, it is the main objective to enable mobility for as many students and staff as possible. Hereby, the focus is put on quality and individuality in terms of international experiences and comprises all actions of mobility (SMS/SMP/STA/STT). The amount of mobilities for students have been continuously increased in recent years. Due to the pandemic, Project 21 focused on facilitating mobility as far as possible under safe and good conditions. Similar to the previous projects, the Erasmus+ placement / internship action was in high demand, if feasible. Long-term exchange possibilities and international activities are a key objective of the Erasmus+ programme and of the German Sport University Cologne. International research and teaching activities, knowledge-transfer as well as the expansion of expertise can thus be enhanced and promoted. The successful implementation of the mobility measures within the Erasmus+ programme are to be continued.
