Objectives

The TU Berlin considers itself to be an international university; Europeanisation and internationalisation are therefore among its declared development goals. The education of students must qualify them for an international labour market and for cooperation with international partners. Professional, social and intercultural skills can be enhanced through teaching and learning mobility. At TU Berlin, the Erasmus+ programme is seen as an instrument for introducing a European dimension to teaching and studies in as many areas as possible. To date, student mobility has been the most important aspect of the programme. As part of the new programme generation, TU Berlin would like to tap into new target groups. In the 2021 project, the target group of students suffering from a chronic illness was added. In addition, TU Berlin has also taken up the topics of digitalisation and sustainability in an international context. With the implementation of the databases Mobility Online for student exchange programmes and Placement Online for internships, administrative processing was digitalised and processes were structured and decentralised.
