The University of Wismar aims to achieve the following goals through participation in the Erasmus+ program: promoting and increasing the mobility of individuals and groups, recognizing achievements obtained abroad, increasing the number of international students, improving the employability of students, facilitating the academic exchange of teaching staff, promoting and intensifying collaboration with partner universities, developing joint projects, and establishing and enhancing networks and research cooperation. Quality, inclusion and equal opportunities, creativity, and innovation are central to these objectives. In the face of advancing globalization, transnational collaboration with universities and mobility for learning purposes are essential prerequisites for success in the European and international education market. Participants in the Erasmus+ program further develop their personalities, acquire intercultural competencies, strengthen the European dimension, and thus contribute to the institutional strengthening of the university.
